  • Student Projects Wanted Each year the number one suggestion people make in regards to the WITEA Spring Conference is that they would like to see more student project examples.  So to meet this goal the WITEA Board of Directors has voted to provide an incentive to people for displaying their projects.  I am pleased to announce on behalf of the Board of Directors the Student Project Display Peoples Choice Award.  Conference attendees will vote for their favorite display.  The winning school will receive a $500 Amazon gift card for the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment for student learning.  There will also be prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.  Please click here to find the guidelines for this contest and for displaying student ...

  • 2016 Conference Program Cover Contest The Washington Industrial Technology Education Association (WITEA) is the professional organization for Industrial Technology/ Technology Education/ STEM teachers in the State of Washington. These instructors teach courses such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Architecture, Construction, Video Production, Game Design, Graphics Design, Applied Math, Applied Physics, Robotics, Shop, Drafting, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Photography, and many other related areas. Each year we host an annual professional development conference in March to allow teachers to improve their skills and develop new ideas.
